1 lb. ground chicken, turkey, or beef
1/2 C breadcrumbs
1 egg
1/4 C finely chopped onion
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper

Jelly Sauce:

1 jar Apple Pepper Jelly* or Red Pepper Jelly* or Hot Pepper Jelly* cooked in saucepan over medium-low heat with 2 Tbsp soy sauce and 1/4 tsp garlic powder* (optional).

Preheat oven to 350.  Combine all meatball ingredients and form into small 1 inch balls.  Place in a single layer on a greased baking sheet.  Bake for 20-30 minutes until just cooked through.  Timing depends on the size of the meatball.  While meatballs are baking, prepare jelly sauce.  Pour over meatballs and serve immediately or keep warm in chafing dish.  Makes 25-30
