Panch Phoron

Panch Phoron literally translates to Five Spice or Indian Five Spice.

This blend originates in the Northeastern and Eastern regions of India and is prominate in those region’s cuisines.

As with many seeds , it is customary to sautee the seeds in ghee or oil if you prefer to enhance their flavors.

Wonderful with chicken, fish and vegetables.
