Memphis Style Dry Rub


Memphis Style BBQ Rib Rub is very flavorful, made from a home made Memphis recipe and is meant to be used on ribs. The hallmark of a classic Memphis style BBQ is that the ribs are cooked for a long time until the meat becomes so tender that it practically falls off the bone.

We recommend that you use 1 tablespoon of Memphis Style BBQ rub per pound of meat. Be sure that after you’ve removed the membrane you coat both sides evenly with the seasoning and then rub it in with your hands. You can either place the ribs in foil or in some extra large resealable plastic bags and then refrigerate for at least 8-24 hours before adding to the smoker.  Add additional rub for the last 15 minutes of the cooking time.
