Fall Flat Bread ~ Make & Take it!

Long before there were loaves of bread, people made flatbreads. Flatbreads are currently experiencing a renaissance and in this class, Paul Anater will walk you through two basic flatbreads; an Indian na’an leavened with yeast and a skillet pita that uses no yeast. You will make na’an dough in class and take it home to bake. Class will close with a Flatbread Feast featuring a variety of Middle Eastern and Mediterranean dips and spreads. A hands-on class.

Buche de Noel ~ Yule Log ~ Make it Take it!

Traditionally in France, the yule-log dessert, Buche de Noel, is served around Christmas time. This festive chocolate cake starts as sheet pan cake and gets filled with scrumptious coffee buttercream and topped with dark chocolate buttercream. In this class due to time constraints, the sheet cakes will be ready when you arrive. After Danielle DiSanto demonstrates how to make the chocolate genoise sheet cake, she will walk you through how to make the frostings, chocolate splinters and meringue mushrooms. You will prepare the frostings, fill, assemble and decorate your own yule-log! Take home your beautiful yule-log and enjoy with your family!
