Grow in confidence and increase your recipe variety as you cook with your cast iron. Paul Anater will demonstrate how to season, re-season, clean and store your cast iron. Once you have the basics down, Paul will demonstrate how versatile cast iron is by making a pear tarte tatin, a recipe that starts on the cooktop and moves into the oven! Chef Maria Quaranta, owner of Pepe’s Pizza in Ephrata, has a wealth of experience when it comes to Italian Cuisine. Maria was born in Sicily and has always worked in family owned restaurants. She loves sharing her recipes with you. In this hands-on class you will make your own mini apple pie to take home and bake!
Tina Bare chose a few recipes that her family enjoys from her favorite gluten free cookbook to share with you. “The Lagasse Girls’ Big Flavor, Bold Taste and NO Gluten!” cookbook, by Jilly Lagasse & Jessie Lagasse Swanson, is just what the title says, lots of taste and no gluten. Taste and see that you won’t miss the gluten!
Travel to France in this class, where you will learn the secrets to making Brioche, a delicate, tender and versatile French dough. In this hands-on class, Paul Anater will walk you through making your own batch of brioche dough that you will take home and bake. Enjoy brioche creations with hot cafe au lait and marmalade!
